I filed in 9/02. I was discharged in 1/03, but made a deal with one of my creditors to reaffirm one debt. Now they state that my debt with the has been sold to Weinstein, and not showing that debt as being included in bankruptcy, nor does Weinstein show my paying THEM on time per our agreement. What can I do?
I'm generally not nice to them past the first "Please".
BTW, this was the first prime CC we've applied for 6.5 years after BK7 filing. We got approved ! It's a gold MC @9.95% w/ 5000 CL.

I am currently updating the credit reportsof myself and my husband. Realistically speaking, I know we will end up in the subprime market to begin with for our new home. Why do you feel that you must go sub-prime??? I, and most brokers that have been in the business for any length of time, have worked with many borrowers who felt for various reasons that they had to go sub-prime but I was able to get them into conforming or ALT-A programs that saved them substanial money.
